Staying with Us
At Woodlands, we love your furry friends and they are very welcome to join you on your stay with.
We do ask for a £10 contribution to cleaning costs, per stay.
Certain lodges are kept pet free, for guests who may have an allergy.
Please remember that our Wee RiverBed lodges are not, er . . . big. You alongside two Deer Hounds might find it tight.
Our Wee Lodges also enjoy underfloor heating. Your dog will not! We suggest that guests with dogs turn off the underfloor heating and use the alternative central heating instead.
If you are bringing your furry friend and would like to have them up on the bed, please bring a dog blanket to protect our lovely sheets!
Check-in is normally from 4pm (with hot tub ready for 5pm); Checkout normally by 10am please. If you would like anything different, please let us know.
SeaBeds Luxury Lookout Lodge
Each lodge has an open-plan kitchen with combi oven/microwave, double induction hob, plus fridge, dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker.
Sadly, due to COVID we have stopped our daily housekeeping service. At this time, your lodge will not be serviced during your stay.
RiverBeds and SeaBeds provide wondrous lodges on the Woodlands Glencoe estate. This special 36 acre site is nestled at the foot of the mighty “thunderbolt mountains”, with the dramatic peak known as “Dragon’s Tooth” forming part of the ridge.
The Dragon’s Tooth Golf Course forms part of the estate which leads down to the lochside at Loch Linnhe.
There are easy walks just from the doorstep, as well as some fascinating historic sites on the estate, or near it. Jump into your car for a few minutes, and there are other superb walks to discover nearby. The famous Glencoe Valley is only a 5 minute drive away and the mighty Ben Nevis sits proudly only 20 miles north-east of the estate.
On the flat or up into the mountains – its all here!

Yes you most certainly can, and you can purchase them easily online here.
Roads do tend to stay open even in snowy conditions, but we recommend checking the Traffic Scotland and Met Office Weather websites before departing just to be sure.
The cancellation policy depends on the type of booking and the package offered. We recommend that all guests carry travel insurance to protect against personal emergencies outside our control.
We do offer two “peace of mind” cancellation options for bookings via our own website (presented during the shopping basket process).
Visiting Us
Yes! Of course! You may begin your tour as a novice but you will end it as a Segway Pro! Our amazing guides will help you build your confidence until you are gliding like you were born to glide!
We are pretty strict on the minimum weight limit on a Segway because the most important thing about gliding on a Segway is being in control, so you have to be heavy enough to maneuver it safely. With that being said, come on down and our lovely receptionists can check if a member of your group close to the minimum weight limit would be able to take part!
Sadly our café is currently closed.
Although our Café is currently closed, our toilets are not – and you are more than welcome to use them!
